Family chapel

The project aims to create an intimate and welcoming place, but also open to the world around it, in particular to the vineyards of the surrounding rolling hills.
And so not only the landscape and the sky insinuate themselves inside the chapel, but also the light contributes to create strong suggestions and play of references. The details become a pretext to insert symbolic elements in the composition such as the gate and the windows that become crosses and the votive lamps, which refer to the lightness / fragility of existence.
Nature also finds space inside, thanks to a flower bed that houses a maple tree placed next to the seat, creating a micro-place devoted to meditation and meditation.
The chapel, completely covered in classic botticino, becomes a space of contrasts: light - shadow, exterior - interior, culture - nature, earthly life - spiritual life.
