Vicenza Design Week promotes and enhances the culture of design at Vicenza and in Veneto through exhibitions, meetings, round-tables and introductions to local designers. Among the most significant events the exhibition About Design Vicenza, result of a national competition among emerging designers and the show "101% Oscar Niemeyer: l'arte di progettare" (the art of planning) proposing autograph plans of the centenary of the artist. Among the meetings in the court yard of Palazzo Valmarana on June 8th, 2009 on 7.00 p.m. the round-table under the supervision by Marcella Gabbiani "Architetture in ascolto. Progettare a misura d'uomo. L'esperienza del Premio Dedalo Minosse alla committenza d'architettura e il Design for All". (Listening architectures. Planning for people.
